Peebles based Law firm, RTALS LLP, won the award in the Business Resilience category at the annual award ceremony which recognises and marks excellence in the legal sector. Being a finalist in the Scottish Legal Awards garners respect from peers and clients alike.
The Business Resilience category was a new category for 2021, introduced in recognition of the challenges faced by the Legal profession brought about by Covid-19. The award required firms to highlight the innovative and creative measures they had adopted to respond to the crisis.
Brenda Mitchell, Senior Partner at Road Traffic Accident Law Scotland said,
“We were concerned that being a small niche firm might make us vulnerable. However, what transpired was that this gave us the agility to be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and instead we flourished.
“Many of the changes we made are now permanent improvements to how we work and keep engaged with our staff, clients, channels to market and wider community.”
